What is known about it.
- Tambon Mae Nam is one of the seven tambon that make up Koh Samui City Municipality, which covers the whole of Ko Samui District.
- The municipality reports that accommodation and restaurants are densest along the north and south-east coasts, in Tambons Mae Nam, Bo Phut and Maret.
