- Chiang Mai International Airport, operated by Airports of Thailand, is on Mahidol Road in Suthep Sub-district, Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province.
- The airport gives its service hours as 06:00 to 24:00.

About Chiang Mai
What is known about the area.
- Chiang Mai City Municipality has been responsible for 40.216 square kilometres since the 1983 royal decree extending its boundary, published in the Royal Gazette on 5 April 1983.
- The municipal area takes in 14 tambon, some only in part, and is divided into four khwaeng: Nakhon Ping (11.7 square kilometres), Kawila (11.4 square kilometres), Mengrai (7.7 square kilometres) and Si Wichai (9.2 square kilometres).
- On its western side the municipality borders the Doi Suthep national park forest, in Mueang Chiang Mai District.
